I’m teaching a course by Pragmatic Institute for designers, design leaders , and design teams who want to increase their strategic impact.
Aligning user-centered work to the advancement of business objectives, demonstrating return on investment, and strengthening cross-functional partnerships is vital to boosting the influence of design. To earn a seat at the strategy table, designers need a grounding in business context that they can connect to their craft.
Business Strategy & Design equips you to confidently contribute to strategy conversations by tying your design work to business outcomes and ensuring you can measure and communicate how design fits into the strategic landscape. Classes are highly interactive and take place virtually over Miro and Zoom in two half-day sessions.
Date / time: Tuesday, July 19 and Wednesday, July 20. 9:15 AM - 12:45 PM EST each day.
Location: Remote, using Zoom and Miro
