Empower a kid in your life by helping them turn their bedroom (or other!) wall into a creative wonderland.

In this workshop, you and a kid you love will learn how to brainstorm, plan, and execute a kid-inspired mural. You’ll discover how mural-making can build creative confidence and strengthen your relationship.

Suggested kid age range: K-6th grade

In this workshop you will:

• Learn principles of good mural design and how to keep it simple

• Understand what supplies you’ll need and steps to take

• Practice brainstorming wildly to generate ideas

• Get ideas from other kid/adult teams

• Learn tips for picking colors, composition, and applying paint

• Learn how to keep it fun, light, and collaborative

• A plan for creating your mural

• Understanding of typical timeline and costs (Hint: You can do it on the cheap!)

• Fresh ideas for your mural that you’ll generate and share in the workshop
